About Clare
With 17 years coaching and teaching experience, alongside a Masters Degree in Sports Coaching, Clare has the skills and knowledge to support you to achieve your climbing goals.
Clare has experience working with a wide-range of people, from those just discovering climbing through to those competing at international events. This experience includes supporting members of the GB Paraclimbing team and supporting the delivery of the GB Climbing England Regional pathway and National camps.
Taking a person-centred approach to her coaching, Clare works with you to discover your individual wants and needs and then helps you to develop the skills and knowledge to find your own personal solutions
Focusing primarily on climbing movement, Clare will help you to better understand your climbing environment and your own abilities and capabilities, and align the two to creatively explore movement opportunities.
All Clare’s work is underlined by her coaching philosophy: to support people to become confident, competent, safe, creative, adaptive, and independent climbers.
